Ipswich Borough Council Events Team hold several internally organised outdoor events on parks and open spaces within the borough including Ipswich Music Day, Holi Festival, Mela, Windrush, One Big Multicultural Festival, Family Fun Days and Christmas Lights Switch On.
Our events range from small-scale community events to nationally recognised events that attract up to 30,000 people. Most events are free to attend, however we do hold a number of ticketed events including Adventure Cinema, Fireworks, Oktoberfest, and Open-Air Theatres.
As well as our own events, we facilitate and administer a range of externally organised events taking place on Ipswich Borough Council owned land ranging from charity runs/walks, music concerts, beer festivals and fun fairs.

Kentwell Hall is the home of Scaresville: The Haunted Village, its spooky little brother Halloweenies: School of Sorcery & also hosts regular Living History events throughout the year and Dickensian Christmas. The Venue also hosts other events including Leestock Music Festival and the Taste of East Anglia.

SPILL is an arts organisation and registered charity based in Ipswich in the East of England. They run a biennial international arts festival and year-round events, exhibitions, talks, screenings, and artist residencies from their Think Tank venue in Ipswich. SPILL works with artists and communities to create unusual and memorable art projects across East Anglia, bringing internationally significant art, artists, and ideas to the region.

As the trading subsidiary of the Suffolk Agricultural Association who put on the iconic Suffolk Show, Trinity Park Events is committed to supporting our local community. As well as helping local charities fundraise for their own special causes, all profits from our commercial activities are ploughed back into supporting the Association’s charitable programme including conferences and education projects with schools, colleges and universities.
