Russ Phillips – UK Crowd Management Association

Russ has been involved in counter terrorism for events for the last 15 years. His roles within policing included as a Counter Terrorism Security Coordinator and Search Advisor as well as designing and deploying hostile vehicle mitigation schemes. He coordinated the National Barrier Asset for the UK police and spent the last five years of his service on the National Vehicle Threat mitigation Unit, which is part of NaCTSO
Phil Adams – Logic Safety Solutions

Phil’s passion for events started early—at just 10 years old, he was helping his dad trade at festivals and quickly caught the bug for the unique atmosphere. Ever since, he’s loved being at the heart of it all, whether it’s a one-day gathering or a five-day festival, indoors or out, rain or shine. Claire Drakeley

Claire is Programme Leader for the BA(Hons) Hospitality Management course at the University of Northampton and the Deputy Head of Subject for Events, Tourism & Hospitality. Her current teaching covers risk management for events, contemporary issues, diversity & inclusion, business practice, event strategy development, and sustainable event management. She has specific responsibility for industry engagement and enterprise across the School and developing innovative learning & teaching projects as well as applied research. Claire is the Strategic Lead – Research and Integration Policy for the Power of Events , and Chair of the Researcg SIG for the AEME.
Jules Pinkney

With over three decades of experience in producing large scale festivals, events, and club nights, Jules Pinkney has earned a reputation as a driving force behind some of the UK’s most iconic productions. Her expertise spans operations, logistics, creative direction, and problem solving—bringing complex projects to life with precision, passion, and flair. Jules’ impressive career began in the early ’90s at Kiss FM, straight out of university. Since then, she’s worked with BBC TV, Eden and Pacha Nightclubs, and played key roles in major UK festivals
Mike Wilson

Mike Wilson, founder of the EAFN, has been a member of many Festival and Venue Committees including Cambridge’s Strawberry Fair for over 20 years, and worked at many other Festivals and events including running stages at Secret Garden Party, the Acoustic Festival of Britain and the Oxjam Cambridge multi-venue Festival. As well as running the EAFN, Mike is also a member of the Vision for Sustainable Events UK Events Steering Group and an ambassador for the Power of Events and still enjoys various roles at other events. Mike also sits on the Events Industry Forum

Cassie is a Creative Producer and Festival Director working in contemporary performance and outdoor arts. She is based in Tendring, Essex and has been working in the arts industry for 10 years. Her work centres on making art accessible in as many contexts as possible, which reflects her core value that culture should be easily available to everyone, especially those who face barriers to culture.
Adrian Cooke

Adrian is Music Relationship Manager for Arts Council England who are the main development agency and public funder of the arts sector in England. Adrian is based in the South East area but with a national role for Contemporary Popular Music. A champion for increased public funding for the rock & pop sector and talent development Adrian has previous experience in promoting live music running festivals, record label management, and rights licensing.
